Hey y'all,
I can't believe it's almost time for fall!! :) Here in the sunny, sunny south, it still feels like the middle of summer but the calendar says fall is right around the corner. Kinda hard to argue with the calendar. :) So here's some almost-fall-but-still-kinda-summer wardrobe ideas. Take advantage of the gorgeous colors that are out this fall and mix and match textures.
Try it! Seriously, you'll have have so much fun!
I'm a HUGH fan of scarves. I wear them all the time. Really, I do. Don't be afraid to wear a brighter color even later into the fall. Scarves are a great option for adding a pop of color but not being overwhelming.
I die over long, flowy, feminine dresses like this! The jacket carries this otherwise very summery dress, right into the beginnings of fall. I think it would also be cute with a jean jacket. (But I think jean jackets can go with pretty much anything! :)
The trench coat is almost as near perfection as an article of clothing can be. It's classy, easy, and versatile. Perfect? Ha. Told ya. :)
Try adding a scarf and tights to your favorite outfit and see what happens. A lot of my clothes were more versatile than I thought till I did just that. A jacket here, a pair of boots with that, add a scarf, layer this with that... I was sooo excited about all the "new" outfits that were right there in my closet!
Even though I live in the deep South where the leaves don't turn gorgeous colors, and I'm still wearing tshirts and flip-flops in November, I'm super excited about other fallish things.

But for today, the sapphire sky and green grass tell me me to enjoy these last pieces of summer. :) So go on y'all, get outside and feel that summer sun! You'll be so glad you did. :)
